I am experienced in bringing a horse back to full fitness from both injury/surgery and pasture "fit", and when necessary training them to achieve specific goals.
I will work with your veterinarian to determine any required care, restrictions, and any limitations or prior injuries.
I can recommend appropriate nutrition and supplements, I am also sponsored by Auburn Laboratories (APF).
Logan is a Hannoverian gelding. He has gone through the 1.20 in jumpers and dabbled in some schooling of Cross Country elements. He was in pasture at no fault of his own, and these photos show the results of my efforts to bring him back into work after a one year pasture break.
PROGRAM: Worked up to 6 days a week including equiband and vienna reins on the lunge, trot/canter sets, hour long walks under saddle, dressage, and jumping.
SUPPLEMENTS: APF pro, smartpacks, Platinum steady, Platinum balance.
BEFORE: May 2020 in pasture
DURING: 1.20 jumping May 2021
AFTER: This photo was taken in June of 2021. Logan had been back into full work for 10 months in a full training program.
Indy is an OTTB that I had in training for a 90 day program. He had come off the track in 2019 and had been lightly re-started by his owner. I was asked to re-start him over fences and put 90 days of training on him/assess any feed changes or needs for weight and muscle gain.
PROGRAM: worked up to 5 days a week, side reins and polo wrap on the lunge, trot sets, walking/hacking in the field, ground work, all around type riding.
SUPPLEMENTS: empower boost, alfalfa pellets, beat pulp, equinity hoof powder

INFO: Mollie is a Tenesee walking horse cross. She had been hanging out in a pasture for 3 years. I was asked to get her started back into work until the owner came back in the Fall to ride her 3 horses.
PROGRAM: In work 2 days/ week. I mainly worked Mollie on the ground - she was very nervous and hot, so I wanted to build her trust and start from scratch. Once she trusted me she became very sweet and gentle, and I had lots of fun working over jumps in hand and riding her as well.

INFO: Lexie is a Quarter Horse cross. She had been in pasture for 3 years. I was asked to get her started back into work until the owner returned from higher education. Lexie had preiously had some lower level Hunter/Jumper training from 5 years ago.
PROGRAM: In work 2-3 days a week. I started this horse on the ground with the basics as it had been so long since she was in a training. As she had not had much training to begin with, I started her as if she was a 4 year old. By the end of the time I had with this horse she was getting her canter departs without running, and she was yielding off proper aids. I also started trotting her over fences prior to the owner coming back into town.
BEFORE APRIL 2022
DURING: working on 9 foot rails at the trot and canter, and walking/trotting over flower boxes.
AFTER: September 2022
Dixie is a Quarter horse, in pasture for 3 years. Prior to that she was in a full training program at a western barn. This is the third horse from the same barn where the owner asked me to get her horses re-started until she came back in the fall.
PROGRAM: 2-3 days per week. Since Dixie was already trained, my main focus with her was to get her muscled evenly (she was high sided on the right side of her croup) and back into a program. While working with her I assessed that she needed some maintenance if she was going to go from pasture to full work. I got her started on mare magic, previcox, and shoes all around instead of bare foot. Once that was all taken care of I started working her over poles and even jumps, she was very lovely to start over fences and the owner is really happy with how she feels now!

Spots is a horse I rode that is owned by a prior boss, he was coming back into work November 2021. I got him rehabbed and going again, he was mainly used as a lesson horse, and she let me ride him on my spare time. She had done all the prior training herself, I was just getting him back into work for her. I did eventually get to show him, I took him to his first recognized three day event where he won the starter division on his dressage score!
BEFORE: November 2021
DURING: Spots winning the Middle Tennessee Horse trials October 2022: dressage - 33.0. No jump or time penalties. Placed 1/8
